The UNISON RESEARCH UNICO CD DUE compact disc player uses a valve based double Triode Pure Class A output stage, offering both analogue and digital outputs. On top of the unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR outputs, there's optical, coaxial, and balanced AES/EBU inputs, with all three connections offered as digital outputs as well. Along with a USB input , these inputs advantage of the ESS Sabre ES9018K2M DAC stage, with a choice of three digital filters selectable from the remote control. And not only that - the CD DUE also offers wireless Bluetooth streaming from phones, tablets, and other compatible devices.

Not just a CD player, the Unico CD Due combines a high-level DAC with Valve output stage, a top-end CD mechanism. It’s feature-rich, flexible and customizable to the listener’s preference. A variety of external sources can be connected to the Unico CD Due, including a laptop or computer for playing all known audio formats – including DSD – via USB.
