The ORTOFON 2M BLUE MOVING MAGNET CARTRIDGE uses an anti-resonant Hopelex cartridge body, and a nude elliptical diamond stylus profile.
The 2M Blue, as a step up from the Red, adds more dynamics and resolution, sounds more open, and reproduces more details.
The 2M Blue is the first step on the path to better sound; As with the rest of the 2M Range the styli are interchangeable, but due to the cartridge body design the perfect pair to the Blue is the Red. Meaning that the 2M Blue is the undisputed best option to upgrade from a 'fitted-from-new' 2M Red model turntable.
