MOBILE FIDELITY ULTRATRACKER MOVING MAGNET PHONO CARTRIDGE
The MOBILE FIDELITY UltraTracker is a Moving Magnet phono cartridge, utilising a nude elliptical stylus and V-Twin dual-magnet generator system, allowing it to extract immense amounts of detail, dynamics, tone, and texture from LPs. Literally made to live in records’ grooves, the configuration gives UltraTracker innate advantages few cartridges claim at this price.
Drawing on 40 years of making records at Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab, the new MoFi Electronics division is focused on improving the sonic integrity of audio reproduction in the home. Our products are the result of multiple collaborations with some of the world’s best audio designers, stemming from decades of experience in the studio. We designed three new highoutput, moving-magnet phono cartridges in collaboration with Allen Perkins of Spiral Groove. MoFi cartridges use a V-Twin dualmagnet generator that mirrors the design of a lathe’s stereo cutter head. Two powerful low-mass magnets are accurately aligned in parallel with the stereo record grooves to achieve excellent channel separation and detail retrieval true to the Original Master Recording.
WELL-DAMPED BILLET ALUMINUM BODY
The well-damped billet aluminum body controls resonances for tight, accurate bass reproduction. UltraTracker delivers finely tuned wide-bandwidth audio, with extension at both frequency extremes and no smearing of detail.
NUDE-ELLIPTICAL DIAMOND STYLUS
