The shallow two-way KEF Q4 META on-wall loudspeaker centres around a two-way UniQ array comprising of a 5.25" aluminium mid/bass driver and a 25mm aluminium HF unit, producing excellent imaging and smooth off axis response, and acting as an "apparent point source" loudspeaker. The Q4 is ideal for discrete on-wall audio or AV systems or media wall systems.
Available in Black, White, or Walnut finishes.

The slender and sleek Q4 Meta is a highly versatile on-wall speaker that can be used as left, centre, and right (LCR) speaker, or as a surround speaker. Featuring a 5.25" 12th generation Uni-Q driver array with MAT™, the HiFi speaker delivers an expansive, immersive soundscape without taking up valuable floor space.

Uni-Q technology places the tweeter precisely at the acoustic centre of the bass/midrange cone, so both act together as a single point source to disperse sound more evenly throughout the room. The result is the elimination of the limited ‘sweet spot’, therefore allowing everybody sitting at different spots in the room to experience and enjoy the same natural, detailed sound.

Metamaterials are specially developed structures that use existing materials in such a way that they exhibit new properties. MAT’s tuned channels absorb 99% of the unwanted sound from the rear of driver, compared to around 60% absorption from loudspeakers using different approaches.

Single Apparent Source technology aims to achieve the acoustic ideal of a point source, where low, mid and high frequencies radiate from one point. Perfectly calibrated drivers that cover the entire bandwidth of the loudspeaker are configured so that all frequencies appear to radiate from one single point. The result is noticeably more precise imaging and highly accurate sound across a wider area.
