FIIO AIR AMP STREAMING AMPLIFIER

The FiiO AIR AMP is a compact streaming power amplifier designed to bring together high-quality digital decoding, powerful speaker amplification and flexible network playback in one space-saving unit.

120W + 120W Powerful Output (4ohms)

Despite its compact dimensions, the AIR AMP delivers an impressive 120W + 120W of stereo amplification, providing plenty of power for a wide range of passive bookshelf and floorstanding speakers.

Its efficient amplification architecture is designed to maintain control during demanding musical passages while delivering the scale and dynamics needed for a full-room listening experience.

PFFB Real-Time Feedback Technology

The AIR AMP incorporates PFFB real-time feedback technology within its amplifier stage.

By monitoring the amplifier output and feeding corrective information back into the circuit, PFFB helps reduce the influence of the output filter and connected speaker load, improving consistency, control and overall sound quality.

The result is cleaner and more accurate amplification across a wider variety of loudspeakers.

Advanced Digital Audio Architecture

High-resolution digital audio is handled by a dedicated combination of:

XMOS XU316 USB interface ESS ES9020Q DAC

The XMOS XU316 provides high-performance USB audio processing, while the ESS DAC handles digital-to-analogue conversion before the signal reaches the amplifier stage.

USB audio supports high-resolution playback up to 32-bit/768kHz PCM and DSD512, allowing the AIR AMP to serve as a high-quality DAC and amplifier when connected directly to a computer or compatible digital source.

Premium Audio-Grade Components

FiiO has equipped the AIR AMP with carefully selected audio-grade components throughout the signal and power stages.

Dedicated filtering, amplification and power-supply circuitry are designed to minimise unwanted noise and distortion while maintaining the current delivery required by the speaker amplifier.

This component-focused design helps the AIR AMP combine high output power with the cleaner, more refined presentation expected from a dedicated HiFi amplifier.

Play Music Directly from Your Network

The AIR AMP isn't limited to traditional physical sources.

It supports playback from NAS drives, allowing a large network-based music library to be accessed without needing to keep a computer permanently connected.

Local storage is equally straightforward, with support for:

• USB flash drives

• Portable hard drives

• Network-attached storage

This makes the AIR AMP suitable as both an amplifier and the central playback device in a streamlined music system.

Fast Wired and Wireless Networking

For reliable music streaming, the AIR AMP supports both wired and wireless network connections.

Gigabit Ethernet provides a fast and stable connection for large music libraries and high-resolution streaming, while 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi gives you greater flexibility when a wired network connection isn't practical.

Seven Inputs, Three Outputs

A comprehensive selection of analogue, digital and network connections makes the AIR AMP easy to integrate into an existing audio system.

The AIR AMP provides seven input options, allowing it to work with sources including computers, televisions, digital transports, mobile devices, analogue equipment, local storage and network-based music.

Its three main output options allow the AIR AMP to form the centre of several different system configurations:

• Passive speaker output

• Subwoofer output

• Preamp output

The dedicated subwoofer connection makes it particularly straightforward to build a compact 2.1-channel speaker system.

Flexible Digital and Analogue Connectivity

Physical connectivity includes options for both traditional HiFi equipment and modern digital sources, including:

• Analogue line input

• USB audio

• Optical digital input

• Coaxial digital input

• Ethernet

• USB storage

• Wireless playback

• Speaker outputs

• Subwoofer output

• Preamp output

This gives the AIR AMP enough flexibility to replace several separate components in a compact system.

10-Band PEQ

The AIR AMP includes an advanced 10-band parametric equaliser, allowing the sound to be tailored to your speakers, room or personal preference.

Adjustment can be carried out through the FiiO Control app or FiiO's web-based PEQ interface.

You can quickly apply existing presets or fine-tune individual frequency bands for more detailed control over the final sound.

App, Remote and Front-Panel Control

The AIR AMP can be controlled in whichever way best suits your setup.

The supplied remote control provides convenient operation from across the room, while the FiiO Control app gives access to additional playback and configuration options from a compatible mobile device.

Physical controls on the front panel provide quick access to everyday functions without needing to reach for a phone or remote.

Compact Modern Design

The low-profile chassis makes the AIR AMP easy to integrate into a desktop setup, TV system or traditional HiFi rack without requiring the space normally associated with a separate streamer, DAC and power amplifier.

Its clean front panel incorporates a central information display alongside physical rotary controls, while the illuminated control rings provide clear visual feedback during operation.
